BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 1 June 2018– A total of 16 babies were born on the 57th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
Of the 16 babies, 13 were born at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan and 3 at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in the Belait District. Each infant received gifts in the form of money contributed by the RBAF, RBAF Wives’ Association (BAKTI) and RBAF Cooperative KOWIRA.
Presenting gifts at the RIPAS Hospital was the wife of the Commander of RBAF, Datin Hajah Rasidah binti Hj Ibrahim. Present to lead Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) BAKTI was President of BAKTI Muara Base, Pg Datin Noralam bte Pg Haji Kahar, the wife of the Commander of RBN. Meanwhile, gifts at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital were presented by the wife of the Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force, Datin Maria Eliza Carlos binti Abdullah.
The presentation of gifts is an annual event to celebrate babies born on RBAF’s Day.
