MUARA, Wednesday, 8 November 2017 – The Welfare Body of Wives of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel (BAKTI) held a ladies’ night with “Polka Dots” as their theme. The event was held at RBN Officers’ Mess at the Muara Naval Base. The Guest of Honour was Pg Datin Noralam bte Pg Haji Kahar, wife to the Commander of RBN.
Doa was recited by Norasfidah binti Haji Bakir, wife to Lt JG Mohamad Assrol Seni bin Ramlee, RBN to get blessing before the commencement of the event.
After recitation of the Doa, the Guest of Honour delivered a speech addressing the importance of organising such event, as this will further strengthen the sisterhood amongst BAKTI. The event was filled with fun and games, where every member earned the chance to bring home at least one lucky draw prize.
The aim of the event was to welcome all new members, to socialise with all BAKTI members. In addition, such social activities will give opportunities for the new BAKTI members to interact with one another.
