RBN HOLDS THANKSGIVING PRAYER FOR BRUNEI’S 41st NATIONAL DAY
SURAU AL-HUDA, Saturday, 22 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a thanksgiving prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam’s 41st National Day. Similar ceremonies took place across all RBAF camps.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 23 February 2025 - His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, along with members of the Royal Family, graced the 41st National Day Celebration Grand Assembly at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan.

MUARA, Friday, 21 February 2025 – Yesterday, The Royal Brunei Navy held a prestigious presentation and promotion ceremony at the Warrant Officer, Chief Petty Officer, and Petty Officer Mess, Muara Base. The ceremony marked the presentation of the Badge, Sam Browne Belt, and Sergeant Major Pace Stick to the newly appointed Sergeant Majors of the Royal Brunei Navy. These appointments included Warrant Officer 1 Mohammad Nasri bin Ladis as the Royal Brunei Navy Sergeant Major, Warrant Officer 1 Azreenazi bin Haji Omar as the Regiment Support Services Sergeant Major, Warrant Officer 1 Haji Mohammad Amirul Hashim bin Haji Abdullah as the Regiment Base Sergeant Major, and Warrant Officer 2 Rakimi bin Haji Awang Lakim as the Drill Sergeant Major.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICER PARTICIPATE IN EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE PROTECTION COURSE IN THE PHILIPPINES
MAKATI, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, 17 February 2025 – A Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) officer recently participated in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Protection Course, facilitated by the UK Royal Navy Maritime Warfare School. Held in Makati, Philippines, from 17 to 21 February 2025, the course brings together representatives from ASEAN navies, reinforcing regional cooperation in maritime security.
THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PROMOTES 109 JUNIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
MUARA NAVAL BASE, February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) conducted a promotion ceremony this month across all sub-units, recognizing the achievements of 109 Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) at Muara Naval Base. This event underscores RBN’s ongoing commitment to the professional development of its personnel, ensuring a capable and proficient leadership structure within the organization.
BASIC BASE DEFENCE COURSE CONCLUDED
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 20 February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) officers and personnel successfully concluded the Basic Base Defence Officers’ Course and Basic Base Defence Course for Other Ranks, Session 2025. The seven-week training program, attended by five officers and 24 other ranks, consisted of six weeks of theoretical and practical lessons, followed by a one-week exercise designed to enhance the operational readiness and defensive capabilities of RBN personnel. The course was organized by the Maritime Operation School and Officer Career Development School (OCDS) at the Naval Training Centre.
