MUARA NAVAL BASE, WEDNESDAY, 14 MAY 2025 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) had the honour of hosting an official visit by His Excellency Lieutenant General Domingos Raul “Falur Rate Laek”, Chief of Defence Force of FALINTIL-Forças de Defesa de Timor Leste (FALINTIL-FDTL), as part of his official engagements with the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PERSONNEL AMONG RECIPIENTS OF KING CHARLES III CORONATION MEDAL
BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION, BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, MONDAY, 12 MAY 2025 - Two personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), 18374 Petty Officer Mohammad Arif Bin Emran, RBN, and 50403 Leading Hand Mohammad Safwan Bin Sabli, RBN, were among the recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal in a ceremony held at the British High Commissioner’s Residence in Brunei Darussalam.

CHANGI NAVAL BASE, SINGAPORE, 06 MAY 2025 – His Excellency Vice Admiral Aaron Beng Yao Cheng, Chief of Defence Force, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), paid an official warship visit aboard KDB DARUSSALAM in conjunction with the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) Asia 2025.
PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR THE JUNIOR RATES FROM THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HEADQUARTERS
MUARA NAVAL BASE, FRIDAY, 09 MAY 2025 - Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony for 17 Junior Rates of the RBN Headquarters where 4 personnel was promoted to the rank of Petty Officer, whereas 4 personnel was promoted to the rank of Leading Hand and 9 personnel was promoted to the rank of Able Rate. The ceremony was held at the Samudera Hall, RBN.
