RBN WELCOMES GOODWILL VISIT BY PLA NAVY FLEET
MUARA, Monday 25 September 2017 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed three People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy Fleet – CNS CHANG CHUN, CNS JING ZHOU and CNS CHAOHU, at the Muara Commercial Wharf. Brunei Darussalam is the 18th country they visited so far, where they started their voyage on 23rd April from Shanghai.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF OF THE INDONESIA NAVY MAKES INTRODUCTORY VISIT TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, Monday 05 September 2016 – The Chief of Naval Staff of the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL), Admiral (ADM) Ade Supandi accompanied by his spouse, Madam Endah Esti Hartantiningsih arrived in Brunei Darussalam on the 4 September 2016 for a three-day introductory visit.

MUARA, Thursday, 28 September 2017 – Ambassador of Extraordinary and the Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Motohiko Kato made an introductory courtesy call to The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad. This is his first visit to the RBN since his appointment as Ambassador in July 2017.
RBN SHIPS SET SAIL FOR EXERCISE RIMPAC 2014
MUARA NAVAL BASE. Wednesday, 4 June 2014 – KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN lead by 379 Lt Col (L) Hj Suhailee bin Pungut and 384 Lt Col (L) Muhd Hadi Syarifuddin bin Hj Muhd Hassanal Mega respectively, set sail to participate in Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) to be held in Hawaii, USA between 26 June till 1 August 2014. Over 140 personnel including officers, crew and technical staff will be onboard both ships as they make their way towards the Hawaiian Islands, USA to partake in Exercise RIMPAC 2014 for the very first time.
RBN HELD SURAH YASSIN, TAHLIL AND DONATION FOR RESPECTIVE RBN PERSONNEL
MUARA, Friday, 29 September 2017 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) organised an event to present RBN donations to eight (8) respective RBN personnel at the RBN Surau Al-Huda. The recital of the Surah Yaasin & Tahlil was led by Imam Haji Anddy bin Haji Saile, Imam of Surau Al-Huda RBN.
FOREIGN TRAWLER APPREHENDED FOR ILLEGAL FISHING
MUARA, Friday, 29 September 2017 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) ship KDB DARUSSALAM apprehended a foreign trawler conducting illegal fishing activities in Brunei waters on Thursday, 28 September 2017. Twelve (12) foreign fishermen were found onboard the trawler.
