MAJLIS KENAIKAN PANGKAT 17959 PEGAWAI KADET (L) AWANGKU ABDUL RAUF BAHAR BIN PENGIRAN HAJI YUSOF
Muara, Jumaat, 5hb September 2014 - Dengan titah perkenan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, Menteri Pertahanan dan Pemerintah Tertinggi Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB), ABDB sukacita mengumumkan bahawa 17959 Pegawai Kadet (L) Awangku Abdul Rauf Bahar Bin Pengiran Haji Yusof telah diperkenankan untuk ditauliahkan dan seterusnya dinaikkan ke pangkat Leftenan.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY COMMANDER ATTENDED THE 8TH ASEAN NAVY CHIEFS’ MEETING
Bangkok, Thailand, 26 – 28 August 2014 – The 8th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting (8th ANCM) was held at the Hilton Millennium Hotel Bangkok, Thailand. With the theme “ASEAN Underway: ASEAN Navies After 2015”, the meeting was officially launched on Wednesday, 27th August 2014. This year’s meeting objective is to seek way ahead, to enhance cooperation in facing the maritime security challenges. Brunei Darussalam was represented by the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Hj Mohd Tamit.
KDB DARUSSALAM AND KDB DARULAMAN HAVE SAFELY ARRIVED IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
WEDNESDAY 27 AUGUST 2014, MUARA NAVAL BASE - KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN have safely arrived in Brunei Darussalam after a long deployment and successfully participated for the first time in the biggest multi-lateral maritime exercise, Rim of The Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014.This was the first long deployment for the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) whereby both ships took almost three months away from home in order to participate Ex RIMPAC which was hosted by the US Navy Western Pacific Command based in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
DARUTTAQWA ARRIVED SAFELY AT LAST PORT OF CALL BEFORE COMPLETING HER MAIDEN VOYAGE
MONDAY, 25th of AUGUST 2014, CHANGI NAVAL BASE, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE - DARUTTAQWA has safely berthed at Changi Naval Base (CNB), Republic of Singapore Navy after eight days of journey from Port of Mumbai, Republic of India.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, TEMD AND CIVILIAN STAFF GATHER FOR HARI RAYA CELEBRATION
Muara Camp, Friday, 22 Aug 2014 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Hari Raya open house event last Friday welcoming all military and civilian staffs and personnel in RBN to share the joys and celebration of the festive month which also aimed to forge closer ties and ask for forgiveness between one another. Colorful decorations and Raya music gleamed the Multipurpose Dining Hall where the celebration was held.
DSLM & DLMN MAKE LAST PORT CALL TO GUAM PRIOR TO GOING HOME
US NAVAL BASE, GUAM. Sunday, 17 Aug 2014 – Both RBN ships, KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN, came alongside Apra Harbour, Guam, this morning for logistical replenishments prior to sailing back to Muara, upon completion of exercise RIMPAC, held in Hawaii and waters off the Hawaiian Islands late June and early August this year.
