CLOSING CEREMONY OF BASIC NAVAL DIVING COURSE 2018
MUARA, Monday, 01 October 2018 – Thirteen personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy comprising of 2 officers and 11 junior rates successfully completed their Basic Naval Diving Course for 2018. The 6 weeks course was handled by the Naval Surface Action Group (NAVSAG) Naval Training Centre (NTC) from the 17th of August until the 28th of September 2018 in Muara Camp.
DEACTIVATION OF EXERCISE SEAGULL 08/2018
BREDCO PORT, BACOLOD CITY PHILIPPINES, Saturday 29 September 2018 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) ship, KDB DARUTTAQWA (DTQ) was at Bredco Port alongside with Philippine Navy (PN) ship BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO (FF17) after completing the sea phase for the bilateral exercise between RBN and PN codenamed ‘Exercise SEAGULL 08/18’. The exercise commenced on Monday 24th September 2018 in Cebu city for the Harbour Phase, followed by the Sea Phase conducted in the vicinity of Camotes and Visayans Sea.
FOREIGN FISHING VESSEL APPREHENDED FOR ILLEGAL FISHING
MUARA, Friday, 28 September 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) ship KDB DARULAMAN apprehended a foreign fishing vessel conducting illegal fishing activities in Brunei Darussalam’s waters about 130 nautical miles from the coast of Brunei Darussalam.
RBN HANDING OVER DONATION TO RBN PERSONNEL
MUARA, Friday, 28 September 2018 – In an effort towards the welfare of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel and their families, RBN held a donation today at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. The guest of honour for the ceremony was RBN Commander, First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Muhammad.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE CHIEF SUPERVISOR COURSE SERIES 02/2018
MUARA, Friday, 28 September 2018 - The Chief Supervisor Course series 02/2018 which was conducted by the Maritime Technical School (MTS) has concluded today with closing ceremony held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre (NTC), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Present as Guest of Honor was Commander Khairil bin Haji Abd Rahman, Commandant Naval Training, Naval Training Centre.
RBN PERSONNEL CONVERTS TO ISLAM
BRUNEI MUARA, Friday, 28 September 2018 – A personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Ordinary Rate (OD) Sharifuddin bin Raya from KDB AFIAT recited the Islamic oath at “Rumah Kegiatan Ugama Kampong Bebuloh Pusat Dakwah Islamiah”, today.
