24th BRUNEI-US EXERCISE CARAT 2018 ACTIVATED
MUARA, Monday, 12 November 2018 –The 24th iteration of the Brunei – United States Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Exercise, a bilateral exercise conducted between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the United States Navy (USN), begins on 12 November, and will end on 16 November 2018. The Opening ceremony was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Center, Muara Naval Base.
RBN PERSONNEL COMPETES IN RBYC REGATTA 2018 COMPETITION
SERASA, Sunday, 11 November 2018 – The Royal Brunei Yacht Club (RBYC) held a two-day Regatta 2018 competition at the RBYC, Serasa Beach where 7 personel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) participated in the competition this year. The competition was also contested by members of the Sarawak SUKMA Team and members of the RBYC.
RBN PARTICIPATES 100 KM ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES INTER-SERVICES BICYCLE RACE
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Sunday, 11 November 2018 – Seventy-eight cycling enthusiasts took part in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 100km inter-services bicycle race that was held today at Bolkiah Garrison which consists of 12 personnel from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). The Guest of Honour for the event was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
EXERCISE CAST IRON BETWEEN STL MUARA SUPPLY BASE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

– As part of the STL Muara Supply Base Marine Exercise plan 2017 – 2019, Exercise CAST IRON was conducted between STL Muara Supply Base and various Government agencies such as the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), Marine Police (POLMAR), Emergency Medical Ambulance Services, Maritime Port Authority (MPA) and Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) on Saturday, the 10th of November 2018.
THE ARRIVAL OF USNS FALL RIVER FOR EXERCISE CARAT 2018
MUARA, Friday, 09 November 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed the arrival of USNS FALL RIVER (FLR), the fourth Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport (T-EPF-4) of the United States Sealift Command (MSC), at Muara Commercial Wharf. She was led by Captain Charles Black, Commanding Officer FLR. Present to receive them was Lieutenant Commander Haji Mohammad Arnold bin Haji Osman, RBN, Commanding Officer KDB BERKAT, representative from RBN.
ACTING RBAF COMMANDER RECEIVED INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM THE DEFENCE ATTACHÉ OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNION OF MYANMAR ACCREDITED TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Thursday 08 November 2018 – Colonel Win Myat, the Non-Resident Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar accredited to Brunei Darussalam who is based in Singapore made an introductory call on the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.
