CLOSING CEREMONY OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERVISORY (OHS) COURSE SERIES 01/2021
MUARA, Monday, 29 March 2021 – The Occupational Health and Safety Supervisory (OHS) Course series 1/2021 was conducted by the Inspectorate Unit of RBAF and the Naval Inspectorate Cell. The closing ceremony was held at Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC).
KDB DARUSSALAM CONDUCTS PASSEX WITH HMCS CALGARY
MUARA, Sunday, 28 March 2021 – KDB DARUSSALAM has successfully conducted Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with HMCS CALGARY upon her transit to continue on her journey west after brief port visit to Brunei Darussalam. KDB DARUSSALAM was honoured to have Her Excellency Jeanette Stovel, the High Commissioner of Canada in Brunei Darussalam who was accompanied by Commander Khairil bin Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander RBN. KDB DARUSSALAM escorted HMCS CALGARY through Brunei territorial waters while successfully conducting the PASSEX in which includes serials such as flag hoist, ship manouevring exercises and sail past.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CELEBRATE NISFU SYA’BAN
MUARA, Sunday 28 March 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held an event in conjunction with Malam Nisfu Syaaban at Surau Al-Huda, RBN. Present as the Guest of Honour was First Admiral Spry Bin Haji Serudi@Haji Seruji, Commander of the RBN. Also present was the Deputy Commander of RBN, Senior Officers, Officers and RBN personnel.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CONDUCTS INFORMATION SHARING SESSION WITH ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY VIA VIDEO TELECONFERENCING
MUARA, Friday, 26 March 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy conducted an information sharing session with the Royal Canadian Navy via Video Teleconferencing. RBN broadcasted the video teleconference from the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC), Muara Naval Base whereas RCN held theirs onboard HMCS CALGARY, when it was docking in and berthed at the Muara Commercial Wharf.
CLOSING CEREMONY BASE DEFENCE COURSE
MUARA, Friday, 26 March 2021. 31 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Personnel successfully completed their course which was held 8 weeks including 5 days of Exercise named Eksesais Perwira. The Basic Base Defence Course specially conducted by intsructor from base defence and also from other qualified instructors from Cawangan Membaca Peta Institut Latihan ABDB.. The closing ceremony was officially closed by Guest Of Honor, Lieutenant Commander Malai Haszahrin Bin Malai Yusoff, RBN, Commanding Officer Base of RBN.
RBN COMMANDER RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL BY HIGH COMMISSIONER OF INDIA TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, 18 March 2021 – First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received an introductory call from His Excellency Ajaneesh Kumar, the High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam this morning at Bilik Pahlawan, RBN Headquarters.
