ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOSTED THE 15TH ASEAN NAVY CHIEFS’ STAFF MEETING
BERAKAS, Tuesday, 11 May 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy hosted the 15th ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Staff Meeting this morning at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. Chairing the meeting on behalf of Royal Brunei Navy was Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Fleet Commander of Royal Brunei Navy. The objective of the staff meeting was for coordination purposes and to ensure the smooth running of the 15th ANCM this coming August.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOLD KHATAM AL-QURAN CEREMONY
MUARA, Tuesday, 11 May 2021 – In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan 1442H, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to mark the completion of ‘Tedarus’ in the holy month of Ramadan. The ceremony was held this morning at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
CREW MEMBERS OF KDB DARUSSALAM AND KDB IJHTIHAD CONDUCTED CEMETERY CLEANING AT TANAH PERKUBURAN ISLAM KAMPUNG KIANGGEH
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 4th May 2021 - KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB IJHTIHAD of the Royal Brunei Navy conducted a cemetery cleaning activity in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1442 Hijrah as well as to pay respects and prayers to dearly departed Royal Brunei Navy personnel buried at Tanah Perkuburan lslam Kampung Kianggeh.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CELEBRATES NUZUL AL-QURAN
MUARA, Monday, 03 May 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held Nuzul Al-Quran ceremony with a special religious lecture at Surau Al- Huda to commemorate the revelation of the Holy Quran. Present as the guest of honour was the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY PARTICIPATED IN THE WORKING GROUP MEETING ON THE ASEAN NAVY TRAINING EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAM (ANTEEP)
MUARA, Wednesday, 28 April 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy today participated in the Working Group Meeting on the ASEAN Navy Training Experience Exchange Program (ANTEEP), organized by the Viet Nam’s People Navy (VPN), conducted virtually. Representing RBN was the Commandant of Naval Training, Commander Willie @ Mathias bin Padan.
ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY’S CLEANING CAMPAIGN ACROSS MUSLIM CEMETERIES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN 1442H / 2021M
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 26 April 2021 – As an initiative to honour the holy month of Ramadan, Royal Brunei Navy has conducted several community activities such as cleaning campaign at cemeteries of officers and members of RBN who have passed on. The activity also entailed the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil.
