MUARA, Friday, 13 October 2017– In conjunction with the Golden Jubilee of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Accession to the Throne, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Kuliah Subuh or Dawn Lecture at the RBN Surau Al-Huda.
Present at the event was First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Hj Muhammad, Commander RBN. Also present were senior officers, officers and personnel of the RBN.
The ceremony began with the mass Subuh Prayer followed by the dawn lecture delivered by Ustaz Haji Adi Aismat bin Lamat, from Al Minhaaj Centre. The topic of the lecture was about ‘Raja Payung Allah di Muka Bumi’. The lecture touched on the history of Islam in Brunei which was started from the first Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Muhammad Shah until the latest Sultan, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. It also highlighted the incomparable greatness of the Islamic developments in Brunei throughout the years and what may the future hold in indulging in the teachings of Islam.
