Muara, Saturday, 31 March 2018 – KD SELANGOR, commanded by Commander Khairisharizal Bin Hj Salehin, Royal Malaysian Navy, arrived and safely alongside at Jetty Bravo, Muara Naval Base this afternoon from Sepangar Naval Base, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
KD SELANGOR’s arrival is in conjunction of the upcoming Sports Interaction BRUMAL 2018 between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy that will commence on Sunday, 01st April 2018. KD SELANGOR was greeted by acting Fleet Chief of Staff, Royal Brunei Navy Commander Rasman Bin Puteh, RBN as well as officers and men of Royal Brunei Navy.
For BRUMAL 2018, both sides will be competing against each other in five sports events, which are Sepak Takraw, Football, Netball, Golf and Bowling. The previous BRUMAL Sports Interaction between both sides was won by the Royal Malaysian Navy which was held at Kota Kinabalu in 2009.
