Serasa, Thursday 12 Jun 2014 – In conjunction with The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) 49th Anniversary, a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held at Setia Ali Mosque, Kampong Serasa. Present as the Guest of Honor was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Commander Royal Brunei Navy.The event began the recital of surah Yaasin and Tahlil led by Ustaz Mas Ismandi bin Hassan, Religious Teacher from the Royal Brunei Navy. The event was later followed by the Doa Kesyukuran and mass Zohor prayer.
Also in attendance were the Deputy Commander, Senior Officers, Officers as well as men of the RBN.
The Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony is one of the norm activity held every year, to ask for and receive blessings from Allah S.W.T, in hope that the RBN will continue to grow and expand for the betterment of its present and future.
