Muara, Friday, 1 December 2017 – Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the Closing Dikir Maulud ceremony at Surau Al-Huda at Muara Naval Base in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration. In attendance in the congregation were Acting Commander of RBN, Captain Hj Othman bin Hj Suhaili@Suhaily, RBN, senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 105 to 112 which was read by Lt JG Shahbillellah Ikhwan bin Haji Ramlee, RBN followed by a mass Maghrib prayer. The ceremony glorify with a special talk entitled “Rasullullah Qudwah Pemimpin Adil” delivered by a guest speaker, Ustaz Abdul Hadi bin Awang Abdul Hamid. After Isya’ prayer, the event concludes with the recitation of Dikir Assalamualaika and doa.
The Dikir Maulud is an annual religious activity which has been continued for 12 consecutive nights starting the 1st of Rabiulawal, 1439 Hijrah to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
