and Captain Erwin F. Lao, Master USNS MILLINOCKET paid a courtesy call to First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, Commander of RBN.
During the courtesy call, Commander of RBN welcomed Captain Matthew J. Jerby, COMDESRON 7 and Captain Erwin F. Lao, Master USNS MILLINOCKET to RBN and expressed pleasure and acknowledge on the contribution and support from United States Navy (USN) in the region towards trust and confidence through multilateral exercises such as CARAT and SEACAT. Both sides also discussed on the importance of USN and RBN relationship and to look at other areas of significant that can further deepened and strengthened the relationship.
Captain Matthew J. Jerby is in Brunei Darussalam to observe and witness the Deck Landing Qualification planned to be conducted on 25th April between USNS MILLINOCKET and 14 Squadron, Royal Brunei Air Force.
USNS MILLINOCKET arrived yesterday for a three-day operational visit to Brunei Darussalam from 23rd April to 25th April 2018.
