NAVAL TRAINING CENTRE, ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY, Friday, 4th May 2018 – The Closing Ceremony of the Marine and Weapon Engineering Supervisor Serial 01/2018 course was held at Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Center, Royal Brunei Navy (NTC, RBN), Muara Camp.The Guest of Honour for the ceremony was 596 Commander Hj Norbahrin Bin Haji Muamad, Commander of Maintenance, Royal Brunei Navy. Present at the event were invited officers, Head of Departments and instructors of NTC, RBN. The Closing Ceremony begins with the recital of Surah Al Fatihah which is led by the Ustaz Rafiuddin bin Hj Md Ali, Religious Teacher of Royal Brunei Navy.
The course were held for 5 weeks, from 30 March to 4 May 2018 and 19 participants from engineer personnel of the Royal Brunei Navy had successfully completed the course. It was conducted by the System and Equipment Training School under the administration of the Maritime Technical School, Naval Training Center.
The objective of the course is to provide knowledge as well as to produce a skilled supervisor and have a high sense of responsibility towards the organisation and assets of the Royal Brunei Navy. It is also to equip the course participants towards their preparation as a Chief of Engineers in the future.
The Guest of Honour has mentioned on the importance of the usage of documentations provided as a reference material. Even though the course has come to an end but as a Supervisor he/she should have the responsibility of delivering an excellent performance as an engineer and the course participants should be able to evaluate and solving problem as the position itself has the greater responsibility entrusted.
The ceremony concluded with the recital of closing doa and photo sessions.
