Thursday, 15 March 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed Bright Jigsaw International School. The group consisted of 53 students and 5 teachers led by Shazwani bin Haji Shahibulbahri, the Principal of Bright Jigsaw International School. The visit creates a unique learning opportunity for the children to enjoy outside their classroom.
The tour began with a short brief on RBN’s the roles, missions and assets were held at the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC), Naval Training Center. The group was welcomed by Lieutenant Dk Lyadia Ulandari binti Pg Hj Muhamad, RBN.
The group also had the opportunity to tour KDB DARULEHSAN, and was was welcomed by the Commanding Officer KDB DARULEHSAN, Commander Haji Edy Jofren bin Pehin Datu Penglima Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, RBN. The ship tour includes visit to the ship’s Ratings Mess, Rigid Inflatable Craft (RIC) deck, Foxcle, Sickbay and Bridge.
The tour ended with a group photo session taken at the Flight Deck with the ship personnel, students and teachers.
