MUARA, Friday, 24 July 2026 – A total of 36 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Fleet Headquarters were promoted during a Promotion Ceremony held at Samudera Hall, Muara Naval Base. The ceremony was officiated by the Guest of Honour, Captain Sonny Iskandar bin Rasani, RBN, Fleet Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were the RBN Deputy Fleet Commander, Commanding Officers of RBN ships, senior officers, ship Coxswains, officers, the Fleet Sergeant Major, Fleet personnel, as well as family members of the promoted personnel.
The ceremony witnessed the promotion of 8 personnel to the rank of Petty Officer, 16 personnel to the rank of Leading Hand, and 12 personnel to the rank of Able Rate, in recognition of their dedication, commitment, and professionalism in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
The Royal Brunei Navy extends its heartfelt congratulations to all promoted personnel and wishes them every success as they undertake their new responsibilities in service to the nation.
