MUARA, Sunday, 13 May 2018 – 60 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) came together with the community of Mukim Serasa to hold a cleaning campaign at Masjid Setia Ali, Pekan Muara. This activity is also as part of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) activity in welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan.This activity symbolising the RBAF’s contribution toward the public in showing national unity. This activity also instills personnel in keeping clean, as this is emphasis in Islam. The cleanliness of a masjid will ensure the comfort for all Jemaah performing prayers especially performing Tarawikh in Ramadhan.
The cleaning campaign started with the recitation of Doa together with the committee of Masjid Setia Ali to bless the morning’s activity. This activity is also coincide in conjunction with Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 57th Anniversary and Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) 53rd Anniversary coming May and Jun respectively.
