MUARA NAVAL BASE, Tuesday, 1st April 2018 – Today the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) presented its donation to fire victim, 50966 Ordinary Rate Noor Sidek bin Nordin, whose house caught fire at No. 5 Kampong Wasan Jalan Bukit Belimbing, Limau Manis on 31st March 2018. Donations from the RBN Welfare Fund, Officers’ Mess Fund, Warrant Officers’, Chief Petty Officers’ and Petty Officers’ Mess Fund as well as funds from the RBN Rating’s Club were handed over to the RBN Personnel. The presentation of the donation was given by Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, RBN, Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Navy held at Bilik Pahlawan, RBN Headquarters.
With an event such as this, RBN aims to support those affected by unfortunate incidents such as fires in the hope that the assistance will help alleviate some of their burden.
