MUARA SETIA ALI MOSQUE, Friday, 13 April 2018 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel joins Subuh prayer and special sermon hosted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs at the Setia Ali Mosque Muara in commerations of the historic event of Isra’ and Mikraj of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. The Guest of Honor for the event was the Minister of Defence II, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof. Also present were the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Services Commander, MINDEF directors, Senior Officers, Officers as well as the enlisted personnel consist of the Royal Brunei Navy and Royal Brunei Airforce.
The ceremony began with the congregation of Fajr or Subuh prayers followed by special sermon by a guest speaker from Pusat Da’wah Islamiah, Ustaz Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapha, with a topic ‘Sembahyang Berjemaah Meraih Berkat’. The ceremony ended with the recital of Surah Al-Kahfi to bless all the personnel who have come for the mass Subuh prayer.
