Thursday, 29 March 2018 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) welcomed visit from orphans of Temburong District which organised by DST. The group consisted of 13 orphans, 14 guardians and 12 DST staffs led by Elixsurian Haji Busu, Manager Group Corporate Communications, DST.The tour began with a short brief of RBN’s roles, missions and assets which were held at the Multi-National Coordination Centre (MNCC). The group was welcomed by Lieutenant Md Shahrul Idham Haji Bungsu, RBN.
After the brief, the group were brought to Jetty Bravo where they had the opportunity to have a ship tour onboard KDB DARUTTAQWA, and was welcomed by the Commanding Officer KDB DARUTTAQWA, Commander Rasman bin Puteh, RBN. The ship tour includes photo session held at the Foxcle followed by brief introduction of the ship and ship tour at the ship’s Ratings Mess, Rigid Inflatable Craft (RIC) deck, Foxcle, Sickbay and Bridge.
Overall, it was a brief experience of the working environment onboard RBN ship.
