Muara Base, Friday 31st October 2014 – A promotion ceremony of Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel was held at the Warrant Officer & Sergeant’s Mess, Muara Naval Base. Presenting the rank insignias to 17 RBN Personnel was the acting Royal Brunei Navy Commander, Colonel (L) Pengiran Norazmi Bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad.The List of promoted is as follows: 2 personnel received acting Warrant Officer II and 15 personnel received acting Staff Sergeant.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by the Religious Teacher of Royal Brunei Navy, Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin Bin Haji Mohd Ali. Also present for the ceremony were RBN Senior Officers, Officers, NCOs and family members of the promoted personnel. The ceremony ended with a “Doa Selamat” by Ustaz Muhammad Rafi’uddin Bin Haji Mohd Ali and a light refreshment.
