Serasa Muara Friday 11 July 2014, In the spirit of Ramadhan and observing the Muslim holy month, more than 50 personnel of the Royal Brunei Navy organised a cleaning campaign at the Muslim cemetery located in Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kampung Serasa, Muara.Present to lead the campaign was 842 Lt (L) Mohd Izzat bin DP Hj Mohd Murad.Other than cleaning the cemetery, the campaign also involved RBN personnel reciting the surah Yassin, tahlil and prayer which was read in memory of the deceased. May their soul be blessed and be placed among believers.
This campaign is aim to encourage and to strengthen the spirituality of the RBAF personnel in the holy month of Ramadhan, as well as to encourage the personnel in taking up community service whilst looking after the welfare of Muslim cemeteries.
