Hawaii, Friday, June 27 2014 , An Official Luncheon hosted by the delegation of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction with the Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014 was held on-board KDB DARUSSALAM at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, USA. Present as special guest was Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr. Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
 
Other attendees are also present is made ​​up of senior officials from the U.S. Navy, Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) and the Indonesian National Army ship – Navy.
 
The event covers a group photo session, appreciation speech from the RBN Head of Delegation and parchment signed by guests. Colonel (L) Zilhusam bin Hj Abdul Rahman, Brunei Darussalam Defence Attaché in the United States as well as staff assistants were also present.
 
Prior to the luncheon both RBN ships, KDB DARUSSALAM and KDB DARULAMAN, also received a visit from Vice Admiral Kenneth E. Floyd, Commander, U.S. Third Fleet with Rear Admiral Yasuki Nakahata, JMSDF Vice Commander Combine Task Force with their entourage respectively. During the short visit, the officials interacted with the officers and crew of both ships in sharing the experience of their journey to Hawaii.
