Bolkiah Garrison, Wednesday 4 June 2014 – Ministry of Defense were crowned 2014/2015 RBAF Netball champions today at the Bolkiah Garrison Gymnasium.The two day event was hosted by the Royal Brunei Navy from 3rd to 4th June 2014.Improving a healthy competitive attitude, sportsmanship and strengthening friendship were some of the aims of the event. One of the prime objectives of the event was to scout for new talents to represent RBAF and compete in the ministerial and national level.
Present as the Guest of Honor for the Opening Ceremony, was Major Dk Hjh Nor Rahimah binti Pg Hj Ismail, whilst for the Closing Ceremony was Major (U) Hjh Suriani binti Hj Junaidi. In addition, spectators included were the Senior Officers, officers and the women personnel of RBAF.
Runner up went to the Training Institute RBAF (IT RBAF) and the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) came in third place.
