MUARA, Monday, 02 October 2017 - The Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad received a courtesy call from Commander Charles Edward Mark Bourne, Commanding Officer of HMAS MELBOUNRE (FFG 05), Royal Australian Navy.
During the call, the Commander of RBN expressed his warm welcome for the goodwill visit and friendly defence relations between the two countries. Both sides discussed to further strengthen bilateral relationship between two navies in the future. This was a great opportunity for both countries to further strengthen bilateral relationships and plan ahead for future activities.
The RAN warship, HMAS MELBOURNE (FFG 05) conducted a Passage Exercise with KDB DARUTTAQWA before proceeding to her next port of call in Japan.
