MUARA, Tuesday, 31 October 2017 - Officers of the Junior Staff Course (JSC) Defence Academy RBAF 2017 paid a study visit to the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Base earlier today. Present to officiate the study visit was Commander Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Chief of Staff RBN at the RBN Headquarters.
The JSC officers were given a brief presentation on the roles of RBN and were also shown a short video illustrating RBN’s achievements during the last 50 years. The presentation ended with a discussion session, which gave the students opportunity to get further insights and a better understanding of the roles of RBN.
Following the presentation was a short tour on board KDB DARULEHSAN. They were given a familiarisation tour which covered areas such as the Bridge, Flight Deck, Sick Bay and Cabins.
The JSC Course is a 14-weeks course conducted by the Leadership and Management Centre, Defence Academy RBAF. For this year, the course is attended by 22 officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, 1 officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force and 7 military officers from the Republic of China, Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, Kingdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
