MUARA, Sunday, 11 December 2016 – A ceremony marking the close of the nightly Dikir Maulud was held at the Royal Brunei Navy Surau this evening in conjunction with the birth of Prophet Muhammad’s (Peace be upon him) for 1438H.
Present as the guest honour was, Captain Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili@Suhaily RBN, the acting Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). Also in attendance were RBN’s Senior Officers, Officers and RBN’s personnel.
The ceremony began with the recital of Al-Quran (Surah Al-Anbiya verse 105 – 112) and then followed by Maghrib prayers. The ceremony was further enlightened with a special lecture on the credibility of Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a great leader was delivered by a guest speaker, Yang Mulia Ustaz Haji Mail bin Besar.
After the talk the congregations were then ushered for Isyak Prayers which was followed by the reading of ‘wirid’, and finally ‘Marhaban’.
