MUARA, Tuesday, 14 November 2017 – Colonel Lee Yong Heng, the outgoing Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam paid a farewell call to the the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), First Admiral Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pg Haji Muhammad. Accompanying Colonel Lee to the call is Colonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond, the incoming Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.
During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express his gratitude and appreciation to Colonel Lee for all the cooperation and support accorded to RBN and the RBAF during his tenure as Defence Adviser especially in coordinating for the betterment of Singapore & Brunei military engagement, which he has held since May 2014.
RBN Commander also congratulated Colonel Yeo who will be taking up the post on 17 November and reaffirmed that RBN will work together to improve the relations of both countries in various fields especially in defence cooperation.
