BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 25 February 2018 – The big-sized Brunei Darussalam national flag that was hoisted since 16 February has been lowered down, marking the end of the period of hoisting the national flag throughout the country.

The hoisting of the main National flag in the capital was in conjunction with the Brunei Darussalam’s 34th National Day celebration. The lowering of the national flag was conducted by 20 personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) led by 1060 Lieutenant Junior Grade Helmi bin Junaidi, RBN accompanied by the National Anthem, ‘Allah Peliharakan Sultan’.

Subsequently, the main National flag was handed over to Dato Paduka Awang Ahmaddin Bin Haji Abd Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance.
