SURABAYA, Saturday 22 July 2017 - The 3rd NWG meeting between RBN and IDN was successfully held from 21st to 22nd July 2017 at Singosari Meeting Room, Wyndham Hotel, Surabaya Indonesia.
The meeting conducted between both navies was hosted by IDN. The 3rd NWG was co-chaired by Commander Khairil Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN Chief of Staff, and Captain Iryansyah, Senior Officer of Exercise, IDNHeadquarters.
The main objective of the NWG was to discuss matters on future exercises, improvements on training, and to strengthen bilateral interaction between both navies. Other matter that was discussed also include the review of the HELANG LAUT Standard Exercise Procedure (HELSEP) where the need for alignment and to adapt with the current operational requirement.
