KDB DARULAMAN WELCOMES NEW COMMANDING OFFICER

MUARA, MONDAY, 6 APRIL 2026 – The Commanding Officer Handover Takeover Ceremony was held onboard KDB DARULAMAN’s Flight Deck. The ceremony marked the official transfer of command from the outgoing Commanding Officer, 739 Commander Ade Roddiane bin Haji Mohd Rosdi, RBN, to the incoming Commanding Officer, 790 Lieutenant Commander Haji Abdul Hafiz Mubarak bin Haji Rusli, RBN, who officially assumed his duty as the 6th Commanding Officer of KDB DARULAMAN.







FROM INDUCTION TO OPERATIONAL DUTY: TEN RBN PERSONNEL QUALIFIED AS SEAMEN AND BASE DEFENCE AFTER COMPLETING THE RBN INDUCTION PROGRAMME SERIES 03/2025

SERASA WATERMANSHIP COMPLEX, WEDNESDAY, 01 APRIL 2026 – Ten (10) Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel have successfully completed the RBN Induction Programme Series 03/2025 after undergoing comprehensive and intensive training throughout the duration of the programme. The six (6) months programme combined both theoretical learning and practical training aimed at enhancing participants’ skills, discipline, and operational readiness.





RBN PERSONNEL CONTINUE DIAMOND JUBILEE COMMEMORATIONS WITH 84 PINTS OF BLOOD DONATED

MUARA, TUESDAY, 31 MARCH 2026 – Continuing the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Diamond Jubilee commemorations, a Blood Donation Campaign was held today at the RBN Warrant Officers’ Mess.





NINE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICERS PROMOTED

BERAKAS GARRISON, FRIDAY, 27 MARCH 2026 - With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, a total of 65 officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) were promoted, which includes 9 officers from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) where 6 officers were promoted to Lieutenant Commanders, RBN and 3 officers to the rank Lieutenant, RBN.







10 RBN PERSONNEL COMPLETE ADVANCED MARINE AND WEAPON ENGINEERING CAREER COURSE M1 2026

SERASA, FRIDAY, 27 MARCH 2026 – A total of 10 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) personnel has successfully completed the intensive 11-week Advanced Marine and Weapon Engineering Career Course M1 2026.
