RBN OFFICERS SHINE WITH PRESTIGOUS OBOE ENDEAVOUR AWARD
TANAH JAMBU, MONDAY, 09 FEBRUARY 2026 — Two officers of the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were honoured with the OBOE Endeavour Academic Excellence Award in recognition of their outstanding academic performance during the Command and Staff Course, at a ceremony held at the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).

MUARA, FRIDAY, 6 FEBRUARY 2026 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) warmly welcomed the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) ship JS YUUDACHI, which berthed at Muara Commercial Port during its port visit to Brunei Darussalam.

MUARA, THURSDAY, 6 FEBRUARY 2026 – Commander Yawata Ryosuke, Japan Defence Attaché to Malaysia and Non-Resident Defence Attaché to Brunei Darussalam, paid a courtesy call to the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Sahibul Bahari bin Haji Zainal Abidin, RBN, at Bilik Pahlawan, Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters.

ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY HOSTS THE 10TH NAVAL WORKING GROUP WITH THE INDONESIAN NAVY, FURTHER STRENGTHENING MARITIME COOPERATION

MUARA, TUESDAY, 3 FEBRUARY 2026 –The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) hosted the 10th Naval Working Group (NWG) with the Indonesian Navy (IDN) in Brunei Darussalam, marking another milestone in the long-standing maritime cooperation between both navies. The meeting served as a platform to review ongoing collaboration and to further strengthen bilateral engagement in areas including joint naval exercises, information sharing and capacity building.
