BRUNEI-MUARA, KHAMIS, 30 OKTOBER 2025 – Sempena memperingati Jubli Intan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), dua kempen pembersihan tanah perkuburan Islam telah diadakan sebagai tanda penghormatan dan amal jariah warga TLDB. Aktiviti ini dijalankan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Keramunting, Kampung Salambigar serta Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jame’ Asr’, yang masing-masing dikendalikan oleh Markas Perkhidmatan Bantu dan Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut.
Kempen ini diketuai oleh Yang Mulia Komandan Perkhidmatan Bantu, Komander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, TLDB. Di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Keramunting, aktiviti dimulakan dengan ziarah ke pusara Allahyarham Lt (L) Redzky Fadzillah bin Haji Mahmud, yang turut dihadiri oleh ahli keluarga Allahyarham. Sesi ini disusuli dengan bacaan Surah Yassin, Tahlil dan Doa sebagai tanda penghormatan dan doa kesejahteraan roh Allahyarham.
Sementara itu, kempen di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jame’ Asr’ bermula dengan ziarah ke pusara Allahyarham Lt Kol (B) Haji Abdul Latif bin Awang Damit dan Allayarham PW1 (B) Hj Abd Talib bin Hj Latif, diikuti dengan aktiviti pembersihan kawasan perkuburan serta bacaan Surah Yassin, Tahlil dan Doa.
Penganjuran kempen ini mencerminkan komitmen TLDB dalam memupuk semangat kebersamaan, nilai murni, dan tanggungjawab sosial dalam kalangan warganya. Di samping memperingati Jubli Intan TLDB, inisiatif ini turut menjadi wadah untuk memperkukuh ukhuwah serta menzahirkan rasa hormat dan penghargaan terhadap para perwira yang pernah berbakti kepada negara.

SUPPORT SERVICES HEADQUARTERS AND NAVAL TRAINING CENTRE HELD A ISLAMIC CEMETERY CLEANING CAMPAIN IN CONJUNCTION WITH ITS DIAMOND JUBILEE
BRUNEI-MUARA, KHAMIS, 30 OKTOBER 2025 – In commemoration of the Royal Brunei Navy’s (RBN) Diamond Jubilee, two Islamic cemetery cleaning campaigns were held as a gesture of respect and charitable contribution by RBN personnel. The activities took place at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Keramunting, Kampung Salambigar and Tanah Perkuburan Islam Jame’ Asr’, organised respectively by the Support Services Headquarters and the Naval Training Centre.
The campaign was led by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, RBN, Commandant Support Services. At Bukit Keramunting Islamic Cemetery, the activity commenced with a visit to the grave of the late Lt (L) Redzky Fadzillah bin Haji Mahmud, which was also attended by the family members of the late officer. The session continued with the recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, and Doa as a mark of respect and prayers for the soul of the departed.
Meanwhile, the campaign at Jame’ Asr’ Islamic Cemetery began with visits to the graves of the late Lt Col (Rtd) Haji Abdul Latif bin Awang Damit and the late PW1 (Rtd) Haji Abd Talib bin Haji Latif, followed by cleaning activities around the cemetery and the recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil, and Doa.
The organisation of this campaign reflects the RBN’s commitment to fostering unity, noble values, and social responsibility among its personnel. In addition to commemorating the RBN Diamond Jubilee, the initiative also serves as a platform to strengthen camaraderie and express respect and gratitude towards the officers who had dedicated their service to the nation.
