ICC, KHAMIS, 30 OKTOBER 2025 – Seramai empat belas anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) telah menerima sijil Higher National Technical (HNtec) semasa Majlis Konvokesyen Institut Pendidikan Teknikal Brunei (IBTE) ke-33 yang telah berlangsung di Dewan Plenari, Pusat Persidangan Antarabangsa (ICC), Berakas.
Dalam majlis tersebut, dua orang anggota TLDB turut menerima Anugerah Kecemerlangan STAR (STARS Excellence Award) atas pencapaian akademik yang cemerlang. Mereka ialah 50403 Laskar Kanan Mohammad Safwan bin Sabli, yang menamatkan pengajian dalam bidang HNtec Kejuruteraan Elektronik di Sekolah Penerbangan, Kampus Sultan Saiful Rijal, dan 50873 Laskar Kanan Muhammad Mahdi bin Muslim, yang menamatkan pengajian dalam bidang HNtec Kejuruteraan Marin di Akademi Maritim Brunei, Kampus Jefri Bolkiah.
Penyampaian sijil dan anugerah telah disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Menteri Pembangunan.

14 RBN PERSONNEL RECEIVE HNTEC CERTIFICATES AT THE 33RD IBTE CONVOCATION CEREMONY
ICC, THURSDAY, 30 OCTOBER 2025 – A total of fourteen personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received their Higher National Technical (HNtec) certificates at the 33rd Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) Convocation Ceremony, held at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas.
During the ceremony, two RBN personnel were also honoured with the STAR Excellence Award in recognition of their outstanding academic performance. They were 50403 Leading Hand Mohammad Safwan Bin Sabli, who completed his HNtec in Electronic Engineering at the School of Aviation, Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus, and 50873 Leading Hand Muhammad Mahdi Bin Muslim, who completed his HNtec in Marine Engineering at the Brunei Maritime Academy, Jefri Bolkiah Campus.
The certificates and awards were presented by the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development.
The participation of RBN personnel in the HNtec programme underscores the Navy’s dedication to enhancing technical expertise and professionalism, in line with its vision to cultivate a knowledgeable and highly skilled naval workforce.
