Guangzhou, China - Royal Brunei Navy officers headed by Commander Saiful Hazril bin Ali, RBN joined 21 other nations for the Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Seminar and Table Top Exercise 2024, held July 8-12.
The seminar and exercise focused on enhancing regional cooperation and disaster response effectiveness. It offered expert presentations and discussions, while the exercise simulated real-world scenarios to test response plans. This combined training strengthens regional disaster response capabilities.
Brunei's participation highlights its commitment to regional security and humanitarian efforts. The knowledge and partnerships gained will enhance the collective ability to respond to future crises.
