COMMANDER OF THE INDO-PACIFIC ENDEAVOUR, ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY, CONDUCTS COURTESY CALL TO ACTING COMMANDER RBN

Muara Naval Base, 30 April 2024 - Commodore Mick Harris, Commander of the Indo-Pacific Endeavour (IPE) 24, Royal Australian Navy, paid a courtesy visit to Acting Commander RBN, Captain Haji Mohd Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, RBN. 


During their meeting, Captain Haji Sarif Pudin took the opportunity to express gratitude to Commodore Mick Harris for his ongoing efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) through the Indo-Pacific Endeavour, most recently held in Brunei in July 2023. The Acting Commander underscored the significance of the IPE initiative and the valuable connections it fosters between Brunei and Australia, emphasizing its role in expanding bilateral relations beyond just military cooperation to encompass broader government-level collaboration.


Both parties expressed satisfaction and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering collaboration and defense cooperation as essential elements for enhancing interoperability and contributing to a peaceful and stable region.
