BOLKIAH GARISSON, Wednesday, 16 August 2023 – A total of 18 Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) officers made a visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces' (RBAF) Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Office as part of their Officer Under Training Course (OUTC) 2023 programme.
The delegation was welcomed by Colonel Norsuriati binti Hj Sharbini, Head of JAG. During the visit, the officers have gained insights on JAG's crucial roles and responsibilities as the principal legal advisor to the RBAF and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). From this visit, the officers were briefed on the process of the legal system in RBAF, including actions that can be taken to enforce discipline such as Disciplinary and Administrative Actions that involve Summary Dealings and Court Martial among others.
The visit concluded with a brief tour of the RBAF Court Martial Centre.
