THREE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY OFFICERS TO ATTEND INTERMEDIATE SUB-LIEUTENANT COURSE AT HMS COLLINGWOOD, FAREHAM, UNITED KINGDOM

Brunei International Airport, Saturday, 02 July 2022 – Three Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Officers; Lieutenant Junior Grade (Lt JG) Nabilah Sa'adatul Hayat binti Shamsul Hayat, Lt JG Dayangku Rabiatul Muthiah binti Pg Ismail and Lt JG Haji Mohammad Farhan bin Haji Samsol were sent off to attend a course abroad. The officers departed on Saturday, 2nd July 2022 to attend the Intermediate Sub-Lieutenant Course at HMS Collingwood, Fareham, United Kingdom for four months.

HMS Collingwood is the Royal Navy's largest training establishment and is also considered the leading establishment of the Maritime Warfare School in Western Europe. The Maritime Warfare School is a federated training establishment that incorporates; HMS Excellent, the Defence Diving School, the RN Physical Training School, the School of Hydrography and Meteorology in Plymouth and the Royal Marines School of Music in Portsmouth Naval Base.

Present during the send off were the families, along with the Fleet Commander RBN, Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman and fellow naval officers. To bless the journey, a recitation of Doa Selamat was led by Lt JG Mohd Raffi bin Haji Asnan.
