MUARA, Wednesday, 03 March 2021 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Diamond Jubilee Anniversary, the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held the opening ceremony of Tadarus Al-Quran at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base.
Present as guest of honour was First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi@Haji Seruji, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The Tadarus Al-Quran opening ceremony was officiated by the guest of honor with the recitation of
Surah Al-Fatihah. The ceremony then proceeded with the reading of Surah
Al-Baqarah verse 1 till 29 followed by
Doa
Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam before the ceremony concluded with the mass Asar prayer led by
Bilal Abdullah bin Mahri,
Bilal of Surau Al-Huda.
Similar ceremonies also take place in all surau's in across other RBAF's camps and officiated by respective guest of honour.
