MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 25 November 2022 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony for RBN Junior Ratings where a total of forty-nine (49) junior ratings were promoted. Present as the Guest of Honour was First Admiral Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander RBN. Also in attendance were members of the Royal Brunei Navy Executive Board, Senior Officers, Officers and colleagues and family members of the promoted personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of the insignias by the Guest of Honour and concluded with Doa Selamat. This day, fifteen (15) personnel were promoted to the rank of Acting Leading Hand, and thirty-four (34) were promoted to the rank of Acting Able Rate. The RBN congratulates those promoted today for their achievements and hopes that they continue striving, encourage and lead those around them for the betterment of the organisation.
