Commander Randall D Jones, Chief, Office of Defense Cooperation, United States paid a farewell call to the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Spry bin Haji Serudi @ Seruji.
During the call, Commander RBN took the opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to Commander Randall D Jones for all the cooperation and support accorded to RBN and the RBAF during his tenure which he has held since 2019. He also highlighted the long-standing relations between RBN and USN since the establishment of exercise KINGFISHER which evolved into CARAT exercise and SEACAT that aims to improving interoperability and cooperation in dealing with mutual maritime security challenges
Both sides conveyed delights and affirmed that despite the challenged faced by the global pandemic, collaborations and defence cooperations are key to develop capacity and further expand professional opportunities in the future.
He will be replaced by Lieutenant Commander Samuel as Chief, Office of Defence Cooperation, who was also present during the call.
