MUARA, Friday 16 July 2021 – In conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, as part of its Community Outreach Campaign, the Royal Brunei Navy conducted mosque cleaning campaigns at two mosques today.
A total of 21 number of personnel lead by PW2 Awang Mohammad Zulhilmi bin A.Rais, conducted the cleaning campaign at Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque, Kg Tamoi, and 22 number of personnel lead by PW2 Haji Mohammad Yussof bin Haji Sulaiman, at Kampong Pintu Malim Mosque, Kg Pintu Malim. The respective mosque committee member also joined the activity as part of their monthly cleaning campaign programme.
The mosque cleaning campaign is carried out by all Directorates under the Ministry of Defence as well as across all units under the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as means to contribute towards the wider Brunei community as well as help the cause of cleanliness in accordance to the current pandemic protocol.
These mosque cleaning campaign will be conducted for six months, which will comprise of 60 mosques all around Brunei Darussalam.
