BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 26 April 2021 – As an initiative to honour the holy month of Ramadan, Royal Brunei Navy has conducted several community activities such as cleaning campaign at cemeteries of officers and members of RBN who have passed on. The activity also entailed the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil.
The campaign was held over a period of three days starting on Monday, 26 April, Tuesday, 27 April and Tuesday 4 May 2021 involving a total of 350 personnel across all RBN departments. The campaign entailed the cleaning of 15 Muslim cemeteries, and focusing on former officers and personnel of RBN.
The campaign was successfully conducted and it is hoped that such efforts will continue in the future with the aim of reaping good deeds especially during this holy month. Furthermore, it is to commemorate and honour the services of those who have served before us in RBN and RBAF.
