FLAG LOWERING CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’S 37th NATIONAL DAY


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 25 February 2021 – Brunei Darussalam's giant-sized national flag that was hoisted on the 16 February has been lowered down, in a ceremony marking the conclusion of the 37th National Day celebrations. The ceremony took place in vicinity of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development.

Twenty personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) were involved in lowering the national flag, led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Haji Faiz bin Haji Kudil, RBN. The entire proceeding was accompanied by the National Anthem, 'Allah Peliharakan Sultan' and the recitation of Doa Selamat to conclude the ceremony.
