MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 01 August 2024 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) celebrated the culmination of its Musabaqah Al-Quran competition with a prize presentation ceremony today at the Nakhoda Hall, Naval Training Centre. The event was held in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces’ (RBAF) 63rd Anniversary.
Open to all RBN personnel, the Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran took place on 31 July 2024, featuring seven reciters evaluated by a panel of four esteemed judges
Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander of RBN, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor, joined by RBN Senior Officers, Officers and personnel.

The Guest of Honour presented prizes and certificates of participation to the competitors and expressed his appreciation to the judges with souvenirs and certificates of appreciation. The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat led by 13007 Warrant Officer 1 Aliuddin bin Haji Sarbini, Head of the Musabaqah Judge.
