MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 13 January 2023 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a promotion ceremony Series 04/2022 for RBN Junior Ranks where a total of fifty-nine (59) were promoted. Present as the Guest of Honor was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Navy. Also in attendance were members of the Royal Brunei Navy Executive Board, Senior Officers, Officers, Navy Sergeant Major, and family members of the promoted personnel.
The ceremony was held at the Samudera Hall, Royal Brunei Navy where thirteen (13) personnel were promoted to the rank of Acting Petty Officers, thirteen (13) Acting Leading Hands, and thirty-three (33) Acting Able Rates. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of the insignias by the Guest of Honor and concluded with Dua' Selamat and group photo.
