KDB DARUTTAQWA (09), Wednesday 07 September 2022 – KDB DARUTTAQWA has recently celebrated her 8th Anniversary of active service in the Royal Brunei Navy fleet. Her motto, which is Honour, Strength and Unity, has been a standing pillar of morale and drive for the ships company in fulfilling her roles and duties. She is the 4th ship of the DARUSSALAM Class built in Bremen, Lemwerder, Republic of Germany. She completed her Maiden Voyage to Brunei Darussalam and she was commissioned on 8th September 2014 by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, The Crown Prince of Brunei Darussalam and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
