MUARA NAVAL BASE, Wednesday, 03 August 2022– Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) received a visit from 16 scholars of the 12th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Development Programme 2022 (12th BSDSDP 2022) with this year's theme "Military Orientation".
Aligned with this year's theme, the visit opened with an introductory presentation of the RBN's organisation and career development, presented by Commander Md Zouhdy bin Haji Abdul Razak, RBN, Commanding Officer Naval Training at the Multi National Coordination Centre before moving to the Full Mission Bridge Simulator at Naval Training Centre. The visit continued to RBN Fleet Headquarters, which a brief introduction of the RBN Fleet was presented by the Fleet Commander, Captain Khairil bin Haji Abdul Rahman, RBN, before moving to KDB DARUSSALAM for a ship familiarisation.
The visit concluded with lunch at the RBN Officers' Mess hosted by the Chief of Staff, Commander Md Azrin bin Haji Mahmud, RBN before leaving Muara Naval Base to Rimba Air Force Base via Sikorsky Blackhawk S70i operated by Royal Brunei Air Force.
