​MUARA, Monday, 14 June 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Mess Dinner Night in conjunction with its 56th Anniversary at the RBN Officer's Mess, Muara Naval Base.

Present as the guest of honour was the Commander of RBN, First Admiral Spry bin Haji Seruji @ Haji Serudi along with his wife, Haslinda binti Haji Hamid. The guest of honour was welcomed by Commander Shahmun Azimin bin Hj Asli, President of the Mess Committee, RBN's Officers Mess and his wife, Hajah Masalinah bte Haji Tali.

The event commenced with the recitation of Doa Selamat led by Lieutenant Junior Grade Afiq bin Yuzrin and followed by the dinner. The event was concluded with a speech delivered by the Commander of RBN where the Commander addressed his appreciation to the spouses then proceeded congratulating officers' whom are newly promoted, newly wedded and new parents.

The event was also accompanied with musical performances by RBN's band.

Towards the end of the evening the Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, members of the Royal Brunei Navy Executive Committee and their spouses also had the opportunity to interact with the officers and spouses who were present during the event.
